I love the idea of identifying the things I treasure, for personal or quirky reasons. Yours are lovely. I have a cookie tin in blues, often keep pistachios in it. I also refuse to capitalize covid (because it's obscene). I am thinking about items for mother's day, father's day, and some birthdays. Your writing is so easy to read to the end.

Oooh what tender, thoughtful and creative ideas thank you. Going to an estate sale with you would be fun. Noted❣️

How do you go about thinking of those objects. Reversing what I wrote here would help my present-buying which is usually a pouting of Do I Have To?

I'm thinking of going to estate sales on some coming weekends. To buy unusual objects. For example, I saw on Buy Nothing this coat hook of iron carved with birds, had three hooks. I thought of my dad because he likes birds. I also think beautiful containers are good gifts. This could range from, say, a cigarette box to a kitchen basket. Something you can put stuff inside of. Even pens or items you put around your desk--a bowl for them. I like utilitarian too. If you ever want to go to estate sales, I'm in.:)
