What if doing More of What You Love was an act of:

☀️ beauty 💥 necessity 💛 resistance
🌳 grounding 💥activism 🐞 healing
💜 connection 👩‍🎨 art making 🍎 recovery
🦩 mischief 💯 community building 🐈 selflessness
❣️LOVE

What if it’s only natural to do what you love?

Imagine that turning toward what you love (or long for) was as natural as the way a plant turns toward the sun; that it’s what we’re here to do, even in times of peace, war, amity and animosity, happiness or despair, democracy or dictatorship, sickness and health?

What we’ll be doing, in a nutshell

For four weeks, we will unearth, explore, and experiment with incorporating more of What You Love into the nooks and crannies of daily life. If you want to go all-in with one beloved activity focus, do that!

Doing More of What You Love is a course, a playshop, an experiment in experiencing & expressing more beauty and love—even during challenging times.

The intention is to see, first hand, how doing what you love is:

💥central to life and living
💥achievable in ways you might not have considered
💥beneficial for you, your family & community, even the world
💥everychanging, and adjustable—accommodating shifting phases, stages, and how the world turns.
💥connecting with the magic & mystery of life: beautiful, unpredictable, unexpected.
💥 possibly the best answer to “life purpose.”

This is your space to learn, explore, experiment, and transform.

We’re going to be like botanists naming flowers, and then planting them in our backyards. How will they (we) bloom?

This is for anyone who:

  • Feels the tap-tap of a calling, a desire, a longing, a vision—still unmet, unacted upon.

  • Ruminates on the existential funk of “purpose” and wants to get on with things.

  • Wants more beauty and love in their life, but isn’t sure where/ how to start.

  • Grinds their molars on How to Life in Times Like This🙋🏻‍♀️

  • Loves deep, exploratory conversations on the nature of life and human potential

  • Likes a bit of adventure.

  • Wants to explore a new frontier in a cool community, with a sense of delight, curiosity, and the right kind of challenge.

For four weeks, we will consider and identify what we love, what it means, what we are doing and not doing, ask questions, kick common beliefs to the curb, and see what … happens🐾🌻

We will also consider the following:

Doing What You Love isn’t a nice-to-have, a hobby, or a privilege. It’s a way of being, a person’s unique expression.

What does it mean to do what you love when you’re at a job you don’t like, or living in a threatening political and global climate, or chin-deep in personal challenges, family or economic upheaval?

How about those pesky transition phases—between careers, life chapters, retirement, empty nesting, or feeling a tap-tap-tap to do something . . . else, the confusion that arises with WHAT NOW?

Doing what we love is a way to connect with the magical, mysterious and beautifully unpredictable quality of Life.
