What if Turning Toward Beauty Could Change Your Life?
I coach people standing at the edge of a new phase, or way, of life
As a coach and beauty hunter, I guide big-hearted humans who are facing a career change, family changes, and the gong of creative callings—and feeling a bit paralyzed by: Now What?, and How?
If you’re in one of those tricky, confronting, uncomfortable life transitions, welcome and congratulations.
If you’ve tried all the tricks, jumped through all the hoops, and clenched out so much discipline that your jaw still hurts, WELCOME.
Try something new. Use Beauty as a portal to change.
Slow down, pay attention to everything. Retire from the hustle, the proving, the securing.
Replace the beck and call of discipline (unsustainable) and duty (enough already!), with enthusiasm, curiosity, a sense of adventure, and intrigue.
Be an existential adventurer and question everything. Experiment, engage, play.
Stare down a few stubborn belief systems, and watch them break down under the weight of your loving gaze.
Enter the wild frontier of What’s Possible and You-can-do-it-ism.
Write. Create. Start, return, complete. Bust ye olde writing-is-suffering myths. Writing Coaching is a Specialty of the House.

What is this exploring we’re doing?
Conventionally called “coaching”, I think of our Exploration as deep, inquiring, adventurous conversations that can start with a question, a yearning, or wherever you’d like to begin. Your exploration can also be challenging, playful, life-affirming, surprising, a bit shattering, mind-blowing, fun, restful, and capacity-expanding. It’s what you make of it. Paces and intensities vary. There’s no One Way.
A coaching-style exploration can raise your attention, instigate your curiosity, and remind you of what you already know about yourself and being human. Get ready to enter the wild frontier of What’s Possible.

About me
Street cred version:
MFA in Creative Writing, Antioch University, Los Angeles
Certified Professional Coach, Erickson International College
Widely published, including magazine and newspaper articles, essays, poetry, short stories, blogs, Medium, Substack.
Company work has included: Young & Rubicam, ELLE magazine, Corbis, Microsoft, LiquidPlanner, high-tech start-ups, and contract jobs. I've been around.
Personal version:
Everyday athlete: Swimmer, runner, walker, skier, former triathlete. My dedication to exercise is less discipline, more love, and very much about community. I understand the need to get those ya-yas out and to socialize while you play; I believe that being in motion is a most natural human state.
Learner: Primary, Middle, High School, College. Extension Programs, Graduate School, Coaching School. Therapist, coaches, mentors, communities, classrooms. Books, the arts and nature are some of my favorite teachers. The learning is ongoing. For the last three years I’ve been part of a non-dual philosophy group.
Retired party girl: I hung up my drinking cups and found a new freedom and happiness in facing myself and using the power of my imagination to manifest the previously unimaginable. I am a big fan of the transformation process. I want to help others give birth to the next phase of their beautiful selves and lives.
Late bloomer: I married for the first time at 49. In one fell swoop, I had a husband, grown step-children, grandkids, sibling-in-laws, the works. My grandma name is “T-Sizzle.” My stepdaughter married an Australian; my mother’s Australian. Life is funny like that. I’m currently finishing up a manuscript called: “LATE: A NOVEL.” Imagine that Elaine from “Seinfeld” finally married at 50—and expected to be as good at marriage as she was at dancing.
