How Do You Do Valentine's Day?

How about a contract

Dear Beauty Hunter Loved Ones,

In pursuit of a most ordinary Valentine’s Day, I considered the Disappointment-Free V-Day.

First stop: No surprises, no expectations, no illusions. In a new move on my part, I sat down with my Valentine, Steve, and drew up this very official agreement of How the Day Would Go on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 upon waking through the dinner hour. Would there be presents? Cards? Poetry? It’s all there.

When I handed the completed document to Steve, he looked it over and signed it.

Note to self: I chose extremely well in the category of Playful Mate. We’ll see how it goes!

I wish you an ordinary kind of contentment on this Valentine’s Day.
