Beauty Q&A With Tracey Lind

"Beauty is happiness"

Dear Beauty Hunters,

Meet Tracey Lind. Look at that beautiful, mischievous, warm soulful human. Tracey has worked in the beauty and welless industry for over 30 years, and relishes beauty on all levels—from the most surfacey-surface variety of lotions and potions, facials, a little nip-n-tuck, to the soily-rich beauty of relationships, close family, all the way through to the un/graceful moments of aging.

Tracey and I met in junior high in the mid-70s. I remember going to her house and getting cozy in her bedroom listening to Top 40 pop while drinking soda from a licorice straw. My mom was a bit of a health food nut so this was a delightful moment of indulgence. A bonding! And wouldn’t you know it, a few years decades later, she arrives on my doorstep with a bag of my favorite English gummy-candy straight from Canada.

Tracey has also known loss. Her mom passed away when she was 17, and a son departed way too early. Yet, this brave woman emphatically votes for the existence of beauty during times of loss. Tracey praises “the love and support you have every day and never realized.”

One more cool tidbit about Tracey, who is one of four siblings: She has never, ever even in almost 60 years missed spending Christmas with her sisters and brother and their families. How cool is that?

Please treat yourself to a frank, fun, and compassionate conversation in the video above. Ten refreshing, beautiful minutes on the relentlessness of beauty in daily life.

Tracey Lund is a pickleball addict, as well as the CoCreator of Evolve180 Weight Loss/Red Light Therapy in Bellevue, WA.
