Beauty Q&A With Tia Ho

Our favorite Emotional Capacity Coach❣️
The magnificent Tia Ho as Lady Liberty, at science camp in her teen years.

Dia dhuitm☘️, Beauty Hunter!

Behold the exquisite human we call Tia Ho! Powerful, bold, sexy, smart, sensitive, strong, seaweed smeared, nymph, meraid-tious. Wouldn’t you follow her anywhere? I would—hell, I do!

Tia and I have spent a few years together exploring the human experience, romping around in a huge playfield of non-duality, consciousness, the interconnectedness of life, and all that jazz. When Tia goes to the edges of comfort (as she is wont to do), and says, “I think I’m going to try …” I follow. Because of her, I’ve grown in ways that would not yet have occurred without Tia’s lead. She’s both rigorous and playful: a favorite combo for a philosophy playmate!

NOTE: If you’re on your own human development exploration, get yourself a good playmate who challenges you in all the right ways (along with a group of like-minded explorers).

Calling all Sensitive Nerds

Tia is brilliant and a renaissance human. She has a Ph.D. in Urban Studies, and teaches at a Portland, OR college; she is a mindfulness teacher and coach; leads forest bathing walks; she’s also a real sporty-spice (swimmer, running, parkour-er, stand-up paddle boarder, and more), a creative and an artist; she loves science, gardening, is serious and fun, and is a beautiful practitioner of friendship. You know how much I love my friends.

Tia is an emotional capacity coach at Finding Mindful Now and offers 1:1 coaching, courses, and groups. She seasons her sharp intellect, deep wisdom and expert teaching with the most delightful eruptive giggle. That alone is worth the price of admission, trust me.

Do not miss her Metamorphosis Membership focused on the under-acknowledged WTF undulations of peri- and menopause. A few spots left, grab one!

Here’s how Tia describes her work:

“I work with sensitive nerds who get really curious about growth, and who have, like me, a very sensitive nervous system. We work together to explore how we can get out of the mind—an amazingly powerful tool—and into just the living of life, so the mental gyrations aren’t quite a barrier.

  • What Tia has learned from her work influencing policy and implementing social changes.

  • The difference between mindfulness & meditation—and why mindfulness?

  • Being OK with life feeling hard

  • The playful nature of work and life

MONEY & BEAUTY
Thursday, March 23, 12 - 1 pm PDT, Zoom
Respond to this email if interested, or tatyana (at) everydaycreative.net

Up for discussion:

What is Money? What is its role in our lives—and how do we feel about that?

According to one historical theory, money began as a solution to the bartering between people who were trading goods of unequal measure (eggs for a cow, say). Imagine that money’s origin story is grounded in equity!

We’re going to consider the impersonal Beauty that exists in Money, and how we can shift our relationship with it. And anything else that comes in. This is a collaborative space; I will facilitate and we’ll see where the spirit takes us.

To save your place, email or tatyana (at) everydaycreative.net — or look for Zoom link in emails.
