Hi Beauts❣️
Life can change so quickly. Take, for example, this scenario:
One day you’re living in your one-bedroom condo, as single as the Seattle skies are silver; one day you’re watching the holiday world burst with seasonal businesses while you stroll down the neighborhood, the sound of stray change jingling in your pockets; one minute you’re feeling out of place as a singleton while everyone dashes from one family holiday party to another while you stretch out on the living room couch reading for hours on end with nothing but time on your hands…
AND THE NEXT day (or year), almost seemingly out of nowhere, you meet a newly widowed silver fox at Starbucks after a Masters swim workout, who you shouldn’t have anything to do with because shouldn’t he spend at least half a decade grieving, mourning and repairing? You do something different and GO FOR IT and ALL OF A SUDDEN you are living with a man with two grown kids, one granddaughter and another on the way; then you marry this silver fox and in a few years SHAZAM, you’re a grandmother of five.
Three of these grandchildren—Dyllan, Ellie and Benji live in Australia. This month they’re here visiting and look at these beauties, I get to spend all these days frolicking with them. They are real doers and lovers-of-life and spirited and giant-hearted.
So whoever you are, no matter how lonely or disconnected you might feel, know the world pulses with mystery and offerings.
One minute you might be feeling a note of G-minor, the next minute it could be a major chord of D (I don’t know what I’m talking about, but notes can change quickly).
What if you lived this moment KNOWING that whatever you desire will occur. When—that’s the mystery. OXOX
