Hi Funky Beauties,
Sunday morning I woke up to my three gorgeous spirited grandkids ready to ROLL. It was 7:30-ish, and Dyllan, Ellie and Benji didn’t travel from Noosa, Australia just to sit around. So we bundled up and walked through Pioneer Park to Starbucks, settled in with with some hot chocolates and treats, and talked.
The place was a ghost town. The music was a selection of funky disco. So I turned to Benji, 7-and-a-half-years jaunty, and said: “I dare you to get up and dance.”
Without a blink or a word, Benji stood up and got busy dancing. NBD.
Here it is, on this thirteenth day of advent-ing. Enjoy!
Try this: what can you do that’s odd, frisky, unusual, and playful out in the world in an everyday setting that will just fluff things up? FWIW, I got up right after Benji and did a little dancing of my own.
His sisters are used to seeing this kind of thing from their brother.
Happy Tuesday! See you all tomorrow. Xo
